Unfiltered Koroneiki Olive Oil from a 300-Year-Old Cretan Grove

ELIATO is an unfiltered, single-estate Koroneiki extra virgin olive oil from a 300-year-old family grove in the Kritsa Valley of Crete, £14.99 for a 500ml bottle plus £3.00 shipping across the UK. It is cold-pressed, 100% Koroneiki monocultivar, with acidity below 0.3%, and bottled directly at source in UV-protective dark glass.

From One Family Grove in Mirabello Bay

ELIATO comes from "Działka Tomka", our 300-year-old family olive grove in the Kritsa Valley of Mirabello Bay, eastern Crete. We follow traditional sustainable cultivation — no chemical fertilisers or pesticides at any stage. The grove produces a single estate Cretan olive oil, bottled exactly as it leaves the mill.

Why Koroneiki

Koroneiki is widely regarded as one of the most prized cultivars for oil production. Native to southern Greece, the small fruit produces an oil with a fruity aroma, a distinctive peppery finish, and exceptionally high natural polyphenol content. Our oil is 100% Koroneiki monocultivar — never blended with other varieties.

Cold-Pressed and Unfiltered

Olives are hand-harvested at full maturity and cold-extracted within hours at the local Kritsa cooperative on ALFA LAVAL centrifugal equipment. The mill is certified to ISO 9001 and HACCP standards (ISO 22000:2005). The oil is bottled unfiltered in UV-protective Verdetrusco glass made by Vetreria Etrusca, blocking around 99% of damaging UV light. You may notice fine natural sediment at the bottom of the bottle — a sign of quality and authenticity in unfiltered olive oil.
